Community Engagement

At Acts of Grace Project, we create opportunities for women to share their experiences, connect through shared lived experiences, and help shape more responsive programs, policies, and systems of care.

Through storytelling, reflection, and collective action, we identify recurring challenges, surface gaps across healthcare, economic opportunity, childcare and family support, housing stability, and community connection, and translate those insights into meaningful action and improvement.

Our Community Engagement Model

Women's Stories Initiative

We collect and elevate women's lived experiences through one-on-one interviews and narrative storytelling. These stories deepen understanding of the challenges, barriers, and realities women navigate and help inform more responsive programs, policies, and systems of care.

Community Story Circles

We bring women together through facilitated conversations and reflection sessions to identify shared experiences, uncover common challenges, surface recurring themes, and foster connection through collective understanding.

Women in Action Lab

We support women in translating lived experience into action through advocacy, civic engagement, and collaboration with organizations and decision-makers to help inform more responsive programs, policies, and systems of care.

Community Insights & Findings (Coming Soon)

Through storytelling and community engagement, we will synthesize recurring themes, surface opportunities for improvement, and share community-informed insights that can help organizations, community groups, and decision-makers strengthen programs, policies, and systems of care for women, mothers, and families.

Our Approach

We believe meaningful change begins with listening.

We approach our work through grace—creating space for women to share their realities, fostering connection through shared lived experiences, and encouraging systems and society to respond with greater understanding, compassion, and meaningful action.

By centering women's lived experiences, we move from awareness to insight—and from insight to action that improves programs, policies, and systems of care.
