Founded by Natalie Leon—a mother, award-winning communicator and business leader, and advocate for women—Acts of Grace Project was born from a life shaped by perseverance, purpose, and the transformative experience of losing her mother at a young age and later becoming a mother to her daughter, Grace.

Natalie’s early life was marked by adversity. Losing her mother at the hands of her father at age 14 and growing up without a stable family system instilled in her a lifelong commitment to healing, storytelling, and uplifting herself and other women.

She built a meaningful career in community-driven communications, leading award-winning public relations initiatives and community-centered projects, including NAT-PR, Wine With Nat, and Women Who Wine.

In 2021, Natalie welcomed her daughter, Grace, amid the pandemic. Motherhood became a moment of profound personal healing and awareness, revealing the realities of motherhood in America and the widespread lack of wraparound support for women within societal systems. This experience of endurance and awakening inspired the creation of Acts of Grace Project, a nonprofit dedicated to reshaping narratives, systems, and spaces with the needs of women and mothers at the center.

Our Mission

Acts of Grace Project advances support for women and mothers through storytelling, community engagement, and advocacy. We amplify women’s lived experiences to inform and improve programs, policies, and systems of care.

Natalie’s Guiding Belief

Women and mothers deserve to be valued and supported not only for creating life, but for the essential role they play in nurturing children, families, and communities.
